The unique landscape, the authenticity of the region and the hospitality of the people make its visitors return again and again.
The area boasts some of the prettiest beaches as well. some of them are organised and popular and some which are quieter and/or more private. Some of our suggestions are Ritsa, Kalamitsi, Delfinia, Pantazi, Katafygi and Kalogria with its transparent turquoise waters.

KARDAMILI

Kardamili stands out in the entire region because despite of its touristic development in recent years it also retains its historical character and colour.
….”Kardamili is a village, so different from any other in Greece. Houses built with light coloured stones, Mountains that naturally conclude on coasts, stone paved alleys, historical towers and churches. Even the atmosphere of the village is full with finesse and character”.
This is how famous author and traveller Sir Patrick Leigh Fermor who spent many years in Greece and Mani, described it (translated freely from Greek text).
A visit to his house, now owned by the Benaki museum, is a must. Following his wish, his house will be used to sporadically host researchers, poets and authors that visit Greece for work purposes.
